I have to attend a wedding soon and have to travel away for the weekend to go. I am feeling really nervous about it. I am going with my brother and it is his friend who is getting married but I don't know anyone else. I worry that it will be really awkward when we are all sitting at the table and I worry that they will think it odd that I look so young at 29. I really don't want to embarrass my brother. As well as that, a lot of the grooms family are extroverts and I worry they will try and set me up with someone and go on about me being single.
I am really not looking forward to it. |

I don't think you will embarrass your brother, he is bringing you for a reason!
Maybe you could tell your brother about these anxieties and if anything happens he can make sure his friends cut it out? ![]()

I was the last option I think in terms of who he should take. I will let him know I am anxious although there is not much he can do to help.
I guess I need to think of a smart comment to make if anyone tries to set me up or comments on my single status. |
