Lately, I have noticed my anxiety and panic attacks getting worse. You see, I used to have bad anxiety once a week, and a panic attack once a month, sometimes less or more for both. Now, I'm having anxiety everyday, and a panic attack every week, sometimes more, but never less. My anxiety has been causing me much more distress, as it has moved from being all around the same types of things, to all kinds of stuff. My panic attacks have been happening much more frequently, and last night I went to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack, when really it was a panic attack. I didn't tell anybody, because, well, that's embarrassing. Does anyone know what kinds of stuff causes panic/anxiety to get worse?

changes in my routine, changes in surroundings, changes in work all contribute to my level of stress/panic attacks. Hope this helps.

I wish I knew. I've started having panic attacks once or twice a day. I have a pdoc appointment Tuesday, if I can just hang on until then.
I have meds, but as soon as they wear off I'm at it again. Or sometimes I will feel a side effect from a med and start freaking out. I've seriously lost count of how many times I've been to hospitals and doctors, thinking I'm dying. I'm clueless as to why.
