One of my stronger sources of anxiety is aquaphobia; I can't stand touching water... which is inconvenient beyond belief. I have to explain to people that it is like... a severe claustrophobic being buried in a titanium coffin for 5 minutes. No matter how rational any argument is... it just isn't happening. I can feel it washing my body away.

I mostly cope with it via sponge baths and such, but it is still something hard to deal with. Does anyone have similar experiences?

I don't personally have aquaphobia but I know what it is like to have phobias and have to avoid things that trigger it.

Best wishes
