Hey all. For the past few months one thought is recurring every now and then. But even after analyzing with rigour i can't be sure what to do.
Let me tell about the conflict that i'm facing. I want to leave my current employer due to some personal reasons. I'm putting in lots of effort to do that. Now, there are few colleagues who are somewhat more than acquaintances. But I haven't spoken about my decision to them. So, I'm thinking that when the time comes for me to leave, they might ask why i hadn't told them about my plans beforehand. But whatever i come up with seems not appropriate enough. I'm even assuming they might get some negative impression which can cause these professional relationships to suffer. There are arguments for the both sides. But I feel, i am not comfortable to share the details before i am certain about leaving. So can you please come in and bring some fresh perspectives which can help me to settle. ![]() Last edited by Feluram; Oct 10, 2014 at 11:44 AM. Reason: typo |

I would agree that it is best to say nothing to your colleagues as it might put them in difficult position, they will understand.

Wait until you actually make a decision. Don't worry about what hasn't happened yet. Easier said than done, I know, but try.
