So I had to get myself back to work, being £300 overdrawn a couple of months before you move isn't good! I'm so not ready, but with no benefits my OH can't do it all on his own. So I'm being brave.

Its only a cleaning job, so no mental stresses like in admin. I'm still freaking out before every shift though, my heart starts racing, memories of the past with bosses being horrid (I'm not talking just being told off for making a mistake general horrid, I mean like sexual harassment, screaming at you and blaming the temp for everything and actually being bullied)

It doesn't stop, and it doesn't help that I'm not sure what I'm doing. Most of this week I've been picked up for work at 3pm to clean 2 schools, then move onto the offices. Today however I was ready for work at 3, but get a text saying I'm not being picked up until 5pm. At 3:15pm. So now I'm going to be anxious for another 1.5 hours.

Anyone know any tricks to help this pass? Or even ease it a little? If I stand any chance of holding this job down without my anxiety, depression or PTSD ruining my only income, and taking away the pride my other half feels for me right now I need to learn some tricks.

Hope everyone is doing ok!! XxX

why don't you google some information on mindfulness. that is being present in the moment. being aware of your surroundings. being aware of all your senses. listening to the noises, smelling the scents, feeling the seat you are sitting on, the texture of your clothes, seeing the details of the things around you. paying attention to your breathing. when you are noticing all this, you are less aware of the anxiety. the anxious thoughts coming into your mind, you let come into the front door of your mind and then just let them float like clouds out the back door of your mind. these are just a few things you can do. you can always distract yourself by playing games here on pc as well. take care....

When that happens to me, I tell myself I am very good at my job and nothing is going to happen that I can't handle. Anxiety can be tough to deal with at times.
