I was denied by disability again. Almost can't stomach the thought of going back to court. Things were bad, and they keep getting worse. Left only with fear and depression, I don't believe I've any hope left. So, I will be taking leave of pc for a little while, take care my friends.

Maybe it's best you hang around here. Sounds like you could use some support. Isolating yourself might not be a good idea now. Make sure you are doing everything you can do to get yourself as balanced as possible.. meds, therapy etc. Life will get better. take care.

I've heard it usually takes 3 tries to get disability. The first time is almost an automatic deny, the second time is something like a fifty percent deny, and the third time is something like a seventy percent deny. Not sure how many times someone can file for disability though, just make sure you get a good lawyer, have a cooperative doctor, and a lengthy medical history, and you're on medication, and you haven't worked for a certain number of months. I think it also depends how much you have worked so far in the past years.

Thank you all. I know this place is good for me, but I spend more time trying to help others, and leave my issues unspoken. This is my third denial, but, my lawyer believes my case is winnable. My mom's return to die is probably the biggest variable in my free fall into severe depression, but I get a new psychiatrist Friday who is doing a full psychological evaluation which will hopefully get my meds working better, and more importantly give my case more ammunition. Not quite right is not going anywhere. Much love to the pc community.
