Help, I am sitting her shaking, scared and confused. Why do I always try so hard to figure out these darn things. I had a major panic attack about 4 am, it woke me upit felt like my heart actually fluttered/or my muscles jumped outside my body and then it begin racing, right now I still feel like I am shaking from the inside out.

My dad has atrial fib with his heart and I always think its that even though the doctors have tested me and that part is fine. I can't seem to tell my head that....! I am taking Klonopin, celexa anda beta blocker also a few supplements magnesium, DHA and my regular vitamins. I went out of town last weekend with my daughters to visit a good friend I started having anxiety there and Sunday was in a wave of attacks. I almost couldn't drive home I live which was 3 hours away, many thoughts crossed my mind, what if etc...but I made it home yeah...! I don't know what to do, increase meds, see my doctor.....I have recently tried a lot of ssri's and can't seem to tolerate them...I can handle celexa at a very small dose.

For you ladies and may be men....do you notice increased symptoms/ panic attacks before your cycle??????? I am due to start in 6 days am 43 years old , my doc says no menopause yet.

Thanks for your help.....angel

Hello Angels 4 u,

I don't know what the cycle would be like because I am a male. Thought at times I can redirect my anxiety from turning into a panic attack.

For me I have had to learn my self, and what situations I am able to handle outside the home. I have learned that I have to not exceed my tolerance for the days. I have failed as I did yesterday, but I am going back to bingo on thursday and if I have another panic attack, then I will go home and try again the next week. I do hope you get to feeling better.

Take Care,
Kris please help???

If you think you have totally gave up, you haven't, because you are here!

thanks ozzie and kris,

I am still not feeling too good, and the worry is bothersome...I just want it to stop. So sad :-(

I had a menopause screen done last summer and all was good.

Kris keep of the positive thinking!!!

Wishing all of you a beautiful day!
