I've noticed that when my visual hallucinations are getting bad that my anxiety also rises. When the hallucinations spike my anxiety starts turning into panic! It makes my heart jump raising my blood pressure, throbbing in temple.

I usually grab a cold wet wash cloth for my head and lay down to relax it off.

Hallucinations can induce anxiety which in turn gets the hormones flowing to the heart for a fight and or run response. Relaxing is a definite plus. Good idea.
