I have been trying holy basil ( tulsi ) tea infusion for many days to relieve myself of the physical symptoms of anxiety, panic and emotional stress. And it works wonders!! Symptoms like heart burn, belching, depressive mood, irritability,body aches are relieved drastically. It flushes out negativity ( physical or psychological) from one's body. The biggest advantage is that it is caffeine free.Has anybody ever tried other herbal teas for soothing anxious nerves?

I use peppermint or chamomile tea as a relaxing way to prepare to sleep.
The only warning I would give on any treatment someone tries, is to make sure not to abandon the meds that provide a stable base for living each day without consulting with their pdoc.

I love tea-I have a huge drawer & shelf devoted to it-to help relax I like Tension Tamer, chamomile, any type of mint & green-I also like a little agave syrup to sweeten it just a bit.
