Ever since I was little I remember the feeling of dread come upon me mulitple times in different situations. And as I have gotten older, the feelings come in the same way: stomach in knots, feelings of panic, and a huge lump in my throat. It makes me feel like I am going to be sick. I am just now realizing that this could be a symptom of anxiety. Considering I have the feeling right now, I think it is true. I just had a long talk with my boyfriend that did not end up with my crying on the phone (we go to different universities, have been together for 2 1/2 years). So I think we both thought that our talk went better than planned. Well after we hung up, the feeling of being sick started to show up. Now I feel sick to my stomach and just a general feeling of loss of control. Is this truely anxiety? Or is it something else? If it is, how can I at least make the nausia go away? Please help, I have been dealing with this my whole life, and I am just now figuring it all out.

I does sound a lot like anxiety to me, but I'm not a doctor, but the symptoms match.
When my anxiety hits me I do deep breathing exercises that calm the body's reaction. Take a deep breath in through your nose to the count of 4. Hold your breath to the count of 7. Exhale through your mouth to the count of 8. I do this 10 times to relieve anxiety symptoms. It takes practice.
