I went to the DFW area yesterday. Usually I do pretty good but this was stressful and vry anxiety inducing. I managed but it wasn't easy. I didn't get to choose the time so I had to drive freeway systems I'm unfamiliar with during afternoon drive time. I was in a different vehicle so I was stressing about what happens if I break down since there are no breakdown lanes on most of the freeways :O Also there was a 20 mile stretch of freeway with two narrow lanes, concrete barriers on each side, wall to wall semis, and it was twilight and had just begun to rain and those trucks were throwing up plumes of water & mist that made it hard to see.
But I made it. Slept 14 hours after I got home. Consequently I missed my Effexor this morning. More fun than a barrel of viral monkeys
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger?

Well done for doing it! I have real issues with driving to places I haven't been to before and big motorways freak me right out! Driving in the dark is the worst. Good on ya!

I guess like you I've just reached a point where I'm going to do what I think I need to do.
