I am just curious how others do....
I take risperdal for symptoms of agitation and anger but it causes restlessness sometimes. My anxiety has been sky high lately. So my dr. gave me Inderal and said take 3 times daily as needed for anxiety. I think it's helping a bit but I have such high anxiety that I'm miserable. Have any of you used Inderal and how was it for you? I've been having to use it 3x a day. |

I'm sorry I do not have any information with regard to your question, HALLIBETH87. Hopefully there are some other members, here on PC, who will yet see your post & reply with their experiences.

I feel as if I am alone in this. It is a beta blocker if that helps.

I've never been on inderal but I have been on a different beta blocker called Atenolol, it helped with severe panic attacks

Unfortunately, I just don't know anything about beta blockers
![]() Personally, my answer to agitation & anger is to just keep to myself. Being as completely alone as possible reduces my agitation significantly. And, although I still have anger issues with regard to things that happened in the past, I don't have experiences in the here-&-now to stir the pot. ![]() Of course, the thing that makes this possible for me is that I'm of retirement age at this point. So I don't have to work & I no longer have the urge to be out in public the way I would have when I was younger. I think this is fairly typical for people my age. By the way... I was on Risperdal for a while years ago. I think I was also on either Prozac or Paxil at the time. I don't recall that any of it seemed to do any particular good. For the past couple of years or so I've been on Cymbalta. However, I'm currently going off of it. |
