Okay, I know this is a lame one, but I'm really nervous to go to the dentist because I've convinced myself that if I eat lunch (Which would be at 10:40) and then go to the dentist and lay all the way back in that chair (which would be at 1:40), it could make me sick. Then, if I ask the dentist to prop the chair up a little bit so I'm not all the way flat, all the toothpaste and stuff will run down my throat and make me sick. There's no win here! I'm kind of getting hungry again and my head's starting to hurt, but if I eat I'll be just a WRECK. But then I'm afraid if I don't eat, I'll feel like crap at the dentist and it'll make me sick.
What should I do! My mom won't cancel the appointment and I'm freaking terrified. I don't know what to do.
Please and thanks in advance.

I would just nibble on something light. It's not unusual for someone to have fears regarding dental visits. Maybe you could explain it to your dentist so that next time he/she might could give you something for the anxiety. My daughter has to take a xanax before going to the dentist.

Crackers sounds like a good suggestion or bread and butter. I went to the dentist this morning and didn't get up in time to eat. Now I can't eat and I'm HUNGRY

The dentist terrifies me too. It will be ok. Sometimes it helps if you let them know you are anxious.
