I'm so afraid that anyone I express my feelings of depression to will think that I'm attention seeking, What should I say or do to make them think otherwise if I feel as if they think that?

dont be dramatic. choose people who will recieve the message appropriately, that would be concerned about you. if you are truly worried, take your concerns straight to a professional.

Unfortunately, you can't control the thoughts, actions & emotions of others. If they think you're seeking attention, that's something you can't really control. How they react speaks about the person they are, not the person you are.

As long as you don't overwhelm people, they're generally pretty receptive to listening and offering support. If you feel your problems are more than friends or family would be able to handle, then talk to your doctor and see what treatment options are available to you with the medical coverage you have.

Good luck!
