((((((((((( jinnyann ))))))))))))

Do you have any other coping strats?

When the anxiety takes hold like that you need to take the focus away from it.

Distractions are useful to take the mind off it, going for a walk, computer games, even doing the washing up can calm things down.

Learn some ways to relax, buy a tape or CD and make yourself practice it every day.

Confusion can be helped by grounding yourself, step outside and really notice your surroundings.

Slow the breathing down and this will help any light-headedness you feel.

Sometimes the anxiety can mask the real feelings that are trying to come through.

I know it's hard. Take care. help....

How long have you been on the meds? Maybe another med would be better for you.

I can relate. Ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I just got my prescription with a SURPRISE reduction in number of pills!

Why would a p-doc not properly prepare someone who is already at all time stress. I just cancelled my appointment with him. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Did your doc prepare you or was it just a decision on the spot? Obviously they have no idea what anxiety is all about.

I like pegasus suggestions and echo them.

Take care and hope you can get through the day
