It is something I will speak to my doctor about.
It's just that I don't want to be over reliant on medication in order to overcome my anxiety. I know that I need more self help strategies in real life to work through this. I know that there are different types of therapy available. I am just wondering which type of therapy you personally find most beneficial for dealing with emotions that are all over the place? |

I have mainly used talk therapy. Some claim.DBT is beneficial.
My pdoc has said it's both meds and therapy, that's most beneficial. So not wanting to rely on meds alone, is therapeutic. Hope you find what works best, for you. Sent from my LGMS323 using Tapatalk |

I'm finding Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be helpful. It's something you can start on your own, but I find it does help having someone guide you through it.
Here's a good place to get started, if you want to try the self-help route first: https://moodgym.anu.edu.au/ |

I'm having psychodynamic therapy. I think my anxiety is related to childhood experiences. My therapy first brought anxiety to the surface, I've never felt so anxious as when I started therapy, but 9 months in my life is much improved.
