I'm low on sertraline, and now I have to wait to get more. I have enough left to last until this coming Wednesday. My mom ordered more 2 days ago, and she said my doctor will take care of it. What if it doesn't come next week? I'm worried I'll suffer withdrawal.

Long.....I would not worry. Zoloft has a long half life. It is about 26 hours and it takes a full week for it to start working so you should be ok. I went off a med similar to Zoloft (SSRI) and it took a few days until I had very minor effects. I wouldn't wait to take your first dose when you get it. If it is more than a few days call your doctor and let them know. I would think they could get you a script. Best wishes and I hope this helps.

Mom said I'll go to a new doctor Thursday, and he might put me on something else. Since I'm low, she's suggested only taking half every day until the appointment.

What if the new doctor decides I don't need sertraline anymore?
