My anxiety and paranoia has gotten so bad that it doesn't bother me anymore if I don't go outside. If you read my other posts you will understand.

You sound like me. I'm slowly becoming a hermit. I know things will brighten, I do. I mean they always have. Not that I've been anxiety-free and feelin' groovy, but lately, it's gotten worse.
All I can say, is hold on to hope. Hope is what you have left. Don't hold on to some cure for your anxiety, or some Dr./lover/friend/guru/Oprah to come in, give you words of wisdom and *poof!* No anxiety. That's just probably not going to happen although I wish it would. Hope, hope that it will get better. Hope that you will find people who understand, hope for compassion, hope that the worst of it will pass, hope that tomorrow will be a different day, hope that you can be a rock to someone suffering as bad or worse than you....Hope. That's what keeps you going. And, hey, we *can* dream of a day when we will be free of this plague...as long as we don't hang our hat on it. Keep up the noble fight. You are not alone. I went through a Xanax today (norally take only 1/4 as needed), and still didn't leave the house! I just have HOPE tomorrow will be different. |

![]() I try my best to get outside at least once a day because it helps to reduce my fears whether they are real or imagined.
