I have generalized anxiety disorder. Have felt like this my whole life. I just moved to FL from CO and feel like my anxiety and depression is getting worse. I know they usually go hand in hand. I used to be able to get away with taking one mg of clonazepam a day. Now I take the prescribed two a day. I feel like they are not helping much anymore. I feel like throwing up right now. What do I do!?

Hello there, welcome to the forums

Sorry your feeling this way. Is it possible to consult your doctor about how your feeling and then they could up your dosage or look to put you on something else?

I hate anxiety, too. And it plays a big part in my life right now. I take . 5 mg of klonopin three times a day and still unbearable at times. And nothing in particular sets it off, except leaving the house makes I worse.

Maybe like Dog On a Tree said, maybe your doctor could try a different medication.

I sympathize. I hope you can get some relief soon.

I hate anxiety too. I am lucky in that meds seems to help about 70% of the time but my step son who suffers from OCD and GAD really struggles daily. I agree about talking to your doctor about possible other meds plus really trying CBT and perhaps meditation they both help me stay grounded.

Wishing you relief soon. *hug*

The fact that you just moved states is reason enough for anxiety to worsen, so just know that it is totally normal to feel more on edge if you just made a major move. Once you settle down and become familiar with your surroundings I'm sure your anxiety will improve.

I have found throughout my life that medication, even when they do work, are not good for you in the long run. Try hot box yoga. Its amazing. Please trust me. Try it, just a few times

I am sorry you are having a hard time with your anxiety and depression. I also experience them hand in hand. It's frustrating to not have control over it. Seeing your doctor might help. Hang in there.
