After almost 2 months of feeling really out of it weird, foggy, spaced out , because of an increase in my medication I have FINALLY been feeing normal - I don't mean good - just normal- like a bad version of myself, but still myself - then today I started getting these really weird quick and intense dizzy spells - they are bizarre as anything - they last less than a second and it feels as though I am about to get vertigo but then it doesn't happen- they eventually went away later in the day - but then I got really worried about myself- about never being normal again- about never feeling completely like myself again- I had an apt with my therapist and I told her how great everything was going, then I ended up having these weird dizzy/vertigo thugs and stated to obsess and worry
![]() Why do I feel better for a few days then return to feeling so funky Anyone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are they still persisting? Perhaps they are just something like a mild inner ear infection or something like that, unrelated to your meds or felling 'normal'. I would wait and see if they come back for a few days before I started to obsess about them...

Ugh. That is actually happening to me as well - I just went back on medication this past week after being off for some time. On top of the fog I've been in, I felt these waves of dizziness and my ears would ring. Almost felt like a sinus infection - had to pull over today because I thought I was going to rear end the car in front of me and that I was having a brain aneurysm or a stroke (this is typical) My doc said it was just my body (and brain) adjusting to the meds. Perhaps this is just your bod still adjusting to your increase? Like aftershocks?
Either way, glad they went away, and if they return (and I hope they don't) I hope it doesn't freak you out too much. Kind of seems like it's par of the course when meds are added or upped. |

Thanks bluesy- they are gone and my side effects are fading but the Paxil is still not reducing the anxiety - the panic is gone but the anxiety still persists - I think this medication has maybe run its course for me

I would consider having your blood pressure checked.... I know that when my BP is off - I can get dizzy.
