I woke up with a mild chest pain which caused some anxiety, but then as I was in P.E. class my chest became really tight, to the point it was hard to breathe/walk. I went to the nurse and she said my pulse/blood pressure and all my other readings were normal, I drank a bit of water and it was a little better. After sitting out the rest of the class it's been fine since.

Incidents like this freak me out, because I've had heart problems in the past due to illness; is it just my anxiety? Should I go to a doctor to make sure my heart is doing okay?

I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety. I'm only 37 years old a normal blood pressure....This and similar sent me to the hospital several times last year the EEG type test where normal. I have a trip to a family gathering, I'm just going to assume that it is because of this. I have some Moscato about 1 week ago nothing excessive , but could also be a stressor. I have my moments when I know an ER visit is necessary say um throbbing stabbing pain lasting longer than I'm comfortable with. Sudden attacks etc. Take care of yourself just remember to also alert ER of psychological disorders so that they are aware also.
