Im pretty much just trying to get my five posts out there so I can check out what else this site has to offer. So far ive gotten nothing but positive support. Thank u moderators. Ive come a long way with social anxiety yet still feel a sense of vertigo when in a crowd like im being dropped or crowded in by a lot of different emotions and energies. Solitude is essential for me even though I crave human contact. I push people away yet wish they would stay. What are some coping methods for this?

I deal with same issues. I get lonely sometimes but it's hard to leave the house these days.

Hey Kim... i am an outgoing person but in crowds i panic... i get overwhelmed... it doesnt happen all the time but i feel like i am suffercating. excuse the spelling here...
When i shop i go in a store throw everything in the basket and leave usually under twenty minutes... i don't like to shop or linger.. i don't like people hanging all over me and i can't stand listening to people blah blah blah... so there you have it... i guess i am impatient in the commercial and social arenas... LOL... but here is different... I understand how you feel is what i am sharing with you... hang in there, it does get better... tc |
