don't know why....I'm relatively OK during the evening. Watching TV, going online, etc....but as soon as I get into bed to go to sleep, I get ssoo anxious. I feel gripped by something terrible. Like un-named fears becoming real. Guilt. Hard to figure out. But then in the morning when I wake up I'm better....I don't know, maybe it's like when I go to bed I am "entering" tomorrow and this makes me anxious. Very tired of it....

Hello lark265: The Skeezyks has a lot of difficulty sleeping. I'm often awake late at night. And during those nighttime hours, all sorts of fears come up. I even begin to imagine malevolent forces surrounding me. I know perfectly well there's no such thing. But the thoughts come anyway. I don't know what it is about darkness & nighttime that causes this. But I know it's real...

Nights were the worst for me too. It was worse when I would stay in bed and try to sleep. Maybe try getting up and reading and focusing on something else. I also smudged my bedroom using sage leaves. I felt a negative energy in my bedroom and I was always restless.

What about using television or music to focus on as you go to sleep? That may or may not be good advice, but I thought I'd put it out there just the same. I cannot sleep in silence and have to have something playing on Netflix or Youtube, otherwise I lie there and obsess over things and get so I can't sleep.
