What kind of habits? I always thought I had really bad anxiety but I find that mine may have been caused by a medical condition.

Do you see anyone regarding this anxiety?

If you're an alcoholic be sure to cut back slowly. You will need to be put on medication for the shakes. Really serious matter.

These are big steps - recognising a problem and embarking on a path to change. Something to be proud of.

Day 62.....

Been ok.....No drinks in 62 days....the anxiety has all but disappeared (occasional flare ups but they were very minor or lasted a minute or two)......sleep is 100% better.....lost weight....feel better.....look better....mind is clear......it was the alcohol....

On with life....coping with normal things instead of struggling with abnormality....

In some ways it's good to get angry at your anxiety. In this way your challenge them and once you see there is nothing to be afraid of then start to lose their power over you.

I am sorry to hear that you are at a breaking point with your anxiety. Prayers are definitely being sent your way. If you need to talk about any of the things that make you feel especially trapped feel free to discuss them. It always helps me to talk about things even if they are not in great detail it helps to verbalize them so that you can step back and gain a better perspective on how you can possibly change.

110 days.....

It's getting better by the day....No anxiety for a couple months....Amazing how something so simple as that could be so debilitating....Binge Drinking!

The major cause of this anxiety....

Like the cobwebs in ones life, its not enough to simply keep sweeping them away....one must get rid of the spider....
Thanks for this!
