Hi everyone!
For over two and a half years, I have had chronic anxiety and chronic unbalance problems. I'm diagnosed with GAD and possible CSD (chronic subjective dizziness), with possible vestibular neuritis or vestibular migraines.

Everyday is a huge challenge because of my balance problems causing severe anxiety. I truly want to treat it naturally without medications. Does anyone have stories of their anxieties being helped without medicines? Also, has anyone else had chronic dizziness, lightheadedness, etc. with their anxiety?

Hello KawaiiMira: I see this is your first post... so... welcome to PsychCentral... from the Skeezyks! May you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

I do have a lot of problems with anxiety... can't say that I've come up with any particular stories of anxiety being helped with med's though. I also have some dizziness & balance problems. However, mine are due to the fact that I have Meniere's Disease... a condition of the inner ear that affects balance.

Well i think anxiety its more centered a brain desease and it will work good if ou work to heal your brain .I think you must reprogram your subconstient mind with pozitive sugestion ,you must be patient but it will works .A natural soultion that helped me was shyness and anxiety system this help you by reprograming your subconstiend mind in the pozitive direction .It teach me also on how to have confidence in me and have the power to choose majority of my thoughts .But most important its that teach how to gain pozitive emotion because cause a good reaction in your organism and heal all blackages ,emotional fears ,trauma from the past etc .

Could it be your anti-anxiety medication is causing the dizziness?

Hello. This isn't going to work for lightheadedness, but sit down if possible, but if not lean against something. Then you put your hand on your nose bridge. It's to help keep you from going cross-eyed. It may not worked. It only works sometimes. I usually only get dizzy from anxiety when it's a panic attack. Other than that, no. It won't work for lightheadedness though. Anyways, I hope you find something that works Chronic Subjective Dizziness with Anxiety.

Social anxiety disorder, GAD, OCD, and panic attacks

Lexapro, 10 mg

This is my story:

I am 48 male. 4 years ago a good day I woke up with a this lightheaded dizziness that lasted me for almost two months. I went to several doctors and neurologists, who asked me to take an MRI. Fortunately I was normal. He said that that dizzy spells could be because of stress and anxiety, sent me some pills to relax and sleep better. After about 10 or 15 days after, my symptoms totally disapeared.

However, month and a half ago I returned to feel something similar, but this time note that i felt intermittent vertigo (head spinning) for about 5 days, which lasted no more than 2 seconds. but I noticed that every time that happened, light-head and pressure in the head was increasing, seems like i am wearing a heavy helmet all the time, until finally stay with this horrible feeling of dizziness that accompanies me every day 24/7. It is important to note that for the days that I began this dizziness my anxiety was 1000% since he feared for the loss of my job.

Currently I still have that feeling lightheaded and dazed head. And I went to ENT and neurologist who told me it was again a result of much anxiety and sent me antidepressants (Lexapro)
