There was a whole post explaining my specific problem, but my browser crashed before posting, so I'll just give you the short version:
How does one determine whether anxiety (in my case, shyness around women in whom I'm romantically or physically interested) is normal, or rises to the level of pathology, in which case one should see a psycologist/psychiatrist?
