I feel this built up pressure and tightness in my head in situations with extreme anxiety and stress, does that happen to you? Is it normal to experience that?

I have gotten headaches during intense times too. I have hypertension though so my blood pressure can sometimes spike under anxiety and I have to increase my dosage to control it. If you haven't already, I would check your blood pressure.
Thanks for this!

Oh sure... the Skeezyks has experienced this... along with a lot of other stress-related physical symptoms. One time, my eyes started bouncing up-&-down so that I couldn't focus on anything! At other times one or both of my legs would shake uncontrollably. Serious anxiety / stress can produce all sorts of strange & disturbing symptoms.

I just said in another thread that I used to get tension headaches all the time, until menopause. I hardly ever get headaches anymore.
Thanks for this!

Hello. I always get stress headaches. It especially happens when my mom is taking me to see a mental health professional because my mom doesn't seem to take my stress level seriously and am afraid that the mental health professional will tell my mom something and she won't believe it... like, say I'm making it up. But generally, I'm stressed around my mom. But I can be stressed by others things too that cause headaches. Regardless, headaches are a sign of anxiety for me.
