You must've heard of the phrase "Rage, Rage against the dying of the light". You know Steve Jobs used Death ( the fact that we are all going to die either way) to snap out of the endless cycles of worries.
Lost in our heads full of fear and worries, we often forget that we are alive, a precious gift which all the people who are dead would do anything to get back, even for a day of life. I'm reading this book Fear by Thich Nhat Hanh ( a great bhudhist master), he presents this scenario that they are two astronauts stranded on moon, theyre spaceship broke down and they only have oxygen for 2 days. No one from earth can get there in time to save them. All they can think is that What would we give, to spend those days on Earth, to walk on our beautiful planet once again, to feel the wind rustle through trees, wake up to the rays of sun, spending time with thier loved ones. Thats it, they wont worry about anything else. just those simple things. Things that we all have everyday. He says that we should live our days like its the last 2 days of our lives. We are here, we might as well live. |

exactly, We're all going to die, but the real question is "what are we going to about it?
I say go after everything you love with everything you've got. Make every day count. We owe it to ourselves. |
