"I ponder of something terrifying, and this time there's no sound to hide behind. I find over the course of our human existence, one thing consists of consistence. And it's that we're all battling fear. Oh dear, I don't know if we know what we hear. Oh my. Too deep. Please stop thinking. I liked it better when my car had sound." -Twenty One Pilots: Car Radio.
I listen to this song a lot when I'm alone. It's describes what I go through when I'm alone in my head. "Sometimes quiet is violent." I'm so lost. I'm so scared. There's no reason for any of it. It's my head taking over and scaring me more than anything ever could. I'm so tired of being scared. Last edited by MtnTime2896; Oct 04, 2016 at 08:05 PM. |

First I would say get rid of any song that doesn't make you feel good. Secondly, try to do activities which get you out of your head. I know all to well what living in your head is about. Read, spend time with let...something positive to get out of your head. These ideas really helped me.

I know what it feels like to live in your head. The best medicine is to volunteer or help others. It's a great feeling. There are a lot of people who struggle with MI, remember you are worthy of a life that you want to live. I only listen to deep music when I'm completely stable. Certain types of music can make me manic or depressed.
