I also suffer anxiety attacks, specially know that I'm out of College and feeling daunted by adult life. My attacks are extreme fear, energy, stress in my lower back and uncontrollabe doom thoughts about my life, my health, my opportunities to find work and all the things I had left pass over the years.

Does that ring any bell?

Well, if it is, this is the 3 things I do to manage it somehow:

a) The Silva Method: Imagine a green board and count from 100 to 0, drawing in color red each number, while inspiring and exhaling profoundly and saying in your mind "I'm healthy, relaxed and in complete health".

b) Do some excersice: Yeah, I know it's sound trite and I didn't try it for years, but say, doing a little of abdominal workout (super relaxed, like this image http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/image...erseAbPost.jpg) of 10, breath for 5 seconds and do another 10 until you get thirty; walking is good or do you have a machine in your home?.

c) Tell somebody all your fears. Your thoughts. Your process. Here is a good place if you don't have a familiar, friend or partner near you. Anxiety is like a never ending cycle that crush you and just explaining it to somebody can act as a valve.

d) Cry. When I first got it, I used to cry, to let all the fear and sadness and energy go out of my body in sobs. Usually while taking a bath.

e) Medication: Do you take one? I took Alzam and all its predecesors since June 2012 to January 2015. Many times, you need the help of outsiders to be able to contain and control your body and there is no shame in that. I started with 3grm a day and it went slowly down from there.

I hope any of this can help you. Take care and have a good day.
Thanks for this!
