I would like to know what Bipolar D3 is. My family doc has now diagnosed my anxiety (ongoing for 20+ yrs) and recent panic attack as Anxiety and Bipolar D3 Anxiety & Bipolar D3 (?). I have been on Buspar 30 mg for 5+yrs w/o major problems until recently. I had a panic attack (smothering, heart palipations, etc) went to ER (found nothing wrong), another attack next morning. By this time I knew it was a panic attack and left work and went to family doc. I am now increasing Buspar (he wants me up to 90 mg day), adding low dose Xanax, and has suggested I try Abilify.

I have been on the medication Merry Go Round and do not wish to go back for another ride Anxiety & Bipolar D3 (?). I am currently in therapy: dealing with old and new issues. My last pdoc almost sent me over the edge with his medicating techniques (or lack there of).

I am looking for some insight from others. I do not think I am Bipolar. I failed the test.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am no expert but I think there is a big difference between bipolar and anxiety! I have a daughter who has bipolar and she has very up highs and then very low lows.
I know about the medication merry go round and it is not fun! Maybe increasing the dose of Buspar will help you. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I wish you lots of luck.
