My dr's nurse called for a phone appointment since he is out sick for a month and told her my main issue now is tremors/shaky hands and she said she could ask another dr there to put me on benztropine (for parkinsons and atypical antipsycotics) and told her to put me on the lowest dose of therapy. I get so afraid of taking new meds when my pill inktake could be a meal.
i really want my tremors to go away so i could hold a cup of coffee or type without backspacing all the time. just worried about side effects is all.

Hello dmhobbit: The Skeezyks doesn't really know anything about this. I do have sort-of a tremor that I experience 24 / 7 throughout my body. It's come on within the last couple of years or so I would say. It's not so significant that anyone else would notice. But I feel it. I haven't sought any treatment for it.

Yes, I take it for tremors. I used to take benztropine every day, but it tends to have some odd side effects so I now take it (.5 mg) 3 or 4 times per week. It definitely helps.
