I have recently been having dreams which are causing me to wake up with anxiety. This is ruining my mornings at least and causing me more anxiety. I don't want to slip back into that horrible existence again. I am a recovering alcoholic and have been having a lot of dreams where I've been drinking and horribly embarrassing myself. No desire to drink during the day and I've been sober for a few years now.

I can't remember my dream now, but I was having a dream where I was anxious about something I had done. I woke up knowing it was a dream and not reality but here I am, anxious. I'm on vacation as well and don't want to feel this way and ruin my good time.

Breathing has helped some and we are going to be outside walking.

I pray it helps. I don't want to feel this way.

Can anyone relate?

I can't say enough about this supplement. For whatever reason, it keeps my depression at bay and I feel so much better when I take it.

Hi, It sounds to me like you're feeling anxious in your sleep and that the anxiety is causing you to have upsetting dreams. Maybe you're anxious because you're on vacation?

My anxiety does break thru in my dreams at times. It usually wakes me up. So sad not to be able to escape even in sleep...

Yesterday went bettter as the day went on. I did some deep breathing trying to focus on where the stress was. Focusing on my chest. That helped. I went outside and threw the football w my son. Then we went hiking on a small trail near the Smoky Mountains. I was actually proud of myself because I crossed over a stream on a log without shaking. I made myself do it.

I'm trying hard to use some techniques to relieve my anxiety instead of focusing on it. It helped a lot. I used to never be able to remember these things or I guess I thought they wouldn't work.

Thanks so much for the replies and support. Posting here helped most of all. This is my real salvation when I'm feeling off. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this place.
