How do I stop my hands from trembling when anxiety starts? Very embarrassing

Hello Glenbee52: Personally I don't know of any way to stop one's hands from trembling as a result of anxiety other than to put them in your pockets or perhaps hold onto something.

Hi, Glenbee, and welcome to Psych Central! I'm not sure your hands can be settled down without meds once they decide to shake. I think the best thing to do is to try to calm down before the shaking begins. Deep breaths, positive thoughts....
