I did that before when I had an overload of emotions. My whole body looses consciousness for a bit. It started with just my mind shutting of and sitting still with eyes wide open not moving, just breathing. Then it transformed into the same thing but on small intervals I would not breathe. It turned into jerking with little control over my speech, and now it's just loosing consciousness for a period of time. I would literally shut off. For now if something happens in the sense of a loud noise, or a sudden movement around me, I would gain consciousness again, but until then? Today I had to switch 2 busses in which I was in for about 5 minutes, and both times I lost consciousness numerous of times. I would be walking, or standing or doing really whatever, and then boom, here I go falling down. Is this anxiety? Panic? Exhaustion?? And why are my over powered anti-anxiety pills ain't working against that??

Could it be narcolepsy? I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. Maybe you should get checked out by your doctor.
Thanks for this!
