So I started this new job which is great and I am happy about that. However, part of my job is to do team building exercises with the teenagers I work with so they are sending me and other staff to New Hampshire for the day and we want be back home until 9pm maybe. NH is like 2 hours from where I live and I tend to get very nervous about being in an enviroment where I am that far away from home and with people I don't know to well and I don't know if my cell will work in NH so I can make sure my hubby gets home from work okay which is also something I worry about. Ugh! I want to call in sick that day but I know that what be me engaging in advoidance behavior which will ultimately make thinks tougher the next time a situation like this presents it self. What to do ? Suggestions? Advice? Thanks guys!

Jenn

Wow. Sorry, I just found this... did you do this already or is it still on the docket?

Talk about anxiety! Having my own attack lately... but...

breathe...

things are rarely as bad as we imagine

seminars like these are usually fun! sometimes silly.

take a map.

call your cell carrier to see if they have coverage there.

breathe...

I hope I'm not too late!
In situations like this, the cell becomes my life saver ... find out if it will work in that area ...

Once you're there, just try to have fun. Allow yourself to enjoy the day. You deserve a little fun, don't you think?
