I constantly think that people think that I smell. It's gotten to the point where I find it difficult to be around other people. I just want to lock myself up at home. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. My family, friends (the few that I have left), doctors, nurses, therapists have all told me that I don't smell, but I still think that I smell. I'm in therapy and taking fluoxetine, but these thoughts persist. Does anyone else have thoughts like these?

I'm sorry you're having this difficult situation. Can you pinpoint when you think this began? Was there something that triggered it? If everyone around you says you don't, the probability is that you don't. I'm glad you're in therapy to get to the bottom of this.

I can't say I've ever run across this. I hope some of the other posters have. You could try spraying on a light perfume or cologne that you like so you'll be assured you smell a certain way. Good luck and best wishes.

Well on occasion. If I have been out in the hot sun for instance I am quite paranoid about it. If I can I bathe my underarms several times a day.
