Just have to vent...just very anxious. I think it is a combo of things...
Too much to do...too little time...makes me not want to do anything. Don't know where to begin.
Much has to do with kids back to school...was given no info about where to go, what supplies they need etc...my oldest started jr. high...what a s**t show. No orientation no nothing...just drop your kid off and let them figure it out? No way...and now neither of us will be there to drop her off due to work...so worried that she won't make it to school...the school refuses to bus her even though we are over a mile away in a not so great neighborhood. Secured a ride for her...but we won't be there to make sure she is ready and see her off...such a big change for all of us...
Not to mention my 1st day of jr. high was one of the worst in my life...remember it like it was yesterday.
Next is the issue with their dad...says he is moving out...need to get a lot of things in place for that....need to be ready
Then worried about a friend...
Don't know where to start...

Wow. Just reading about the lack of direction the school gave you makes me anxious! Not to mention remembering my first day of junior high as well. Shudder.

You have every right to be stressed and upset.

When it rains it pours, to be sure you've weathered many storms you will weather this one. I hope the sun shines brightly on you once you make it through this.

Given all your struggles and worries--your anxiety doesn't sound like MI at all--who wouldn't be anxious in this situation.

Many of our schools do not function well for a variety of reasons. Parents are forced to fill in the gaps otherwise the children suffer and go off track. There are children out there whose parents are unable (some don't even have parents) to able to fill this role. It is so sad. Thank goodness many mothers are trying their best to make things work for their children. It is hard. It is not pretty sometimes. I commend you for what you are doing in less than ideal circumstances.
