Doing laundry, got some stuff for the hubby and finished one of my exams for school. Chilling out with some spa music at the moment. It was strange: I was doing the exam and my daughter was talking about one of her friends who was being dragged along by a narcissist. At least she realized that she didn't want to deal with the drama and wants to arrange a game group without the offending people around. She has such a big heart, and it hurts sometimes, but I'm proud of her as well.
Read some info about what I was worrying about. I don't know if it will happen. I hope not. Got him to pick up a multivitamin to go with his ever-expanding group of meds. Hope it will help without having a MS flare. I'm doing okay at the moment. |

I woke up anxious and had to take my prn. I tend to get both done when I’m like this.
Something happened that I thought would make me feel better did, but it was short-lived and I’m anxious about that too. It’s frustrating, what my mind does to me. |

Sigh. I was so ready to talk to the therapist today. She didn't show up to the appointment--she forgot to put me on the calendar.
I have work anxiety creeping in on me again. Evenings are good because I take my meds then. |

Was a tough day back at work... We lost a 6-year-old boy in the ER. Can't get the mom's face out of my head when I had to tell her the news... My daughter always seems to know when this happens. Must be how hard I hugged her when I got home.

High anxiety this evening after someone knocked on back door and said "sorry, wrong house". On high alert, I was watching street & spotted someone walking down the middle. Same person, only this time he had a sock hat on. I asked if he found right house & he walks to porch to tell me he lost his phone battery....which was a lie because I could see phone display was lit! I told him not to come back to this house. Waited for neighbor to get home & told him so his wife & daughter would be alert. Fortunately, there's a lot of dogs in the neighborhood! I'm getting porch light repaired tomorrow for the back entrance we use to come & go!

Hugs to those that want them.
Health anxiety is up. I strained my back in aqua therapy. I also have almost all of my blood test results and more of them are slightly off (though one that was typically high has returned to normal). I have some ideas as to the cause, but my doc is still on maternity leave and I don't know when she'll be back. My pnurse may also have something to say, but that's not until next week. I'll keep off Dr. Google and hope to have something later. Otherwise I'm doing okay. |

I have become anxious about walking my new dog. Granted he seems ill at ease around other dogs to begin with. I've hired a trainer to work with him/us. But he still needs to go for walks. I mentioned in another post my strong loathing for extendable leashes. Perhaps I came off rather harshly but the point is they are a problem. There are two dogs in particular. Even if I cross the street the owners allow their dogs to charge out to the end of these spring leashes. My poor dog is beside himself with upset and defensiveness. I am house training this dog and thus am out for a walk 5-6 times daily. I am at the point that I am worrying so much about coming across these dogs that sometimes I wonder if I am prepared to just let mine pee inside the anxiety is that bad. I return from home frazzled then look at the clock dreading that another walk is mere hours away.

Finn had a better day, but only on account I planned out a new routine ahead of time. It has occured to me that there are times (like the noon hour and after working days are over) I am more likely to encounter other dogs. So we changed things up yesterday and avoided them. Soooooooo much more pleasant.

A change in my personal situation has reduced the anxiety. It is still there but no loner pervasive throughout the day.

Finished my second exam yesterday. Been putting research together for a book I want to write. (Whether it'll actually be written and published is left for another time.) Will start on homework again tomorrow.
Anxiety is still up but manageable. |

Been a quiet day so far, but need to do homework still, and in middle of doing laundry.
The homework is on a database app, and I haven't touched one in years. |

Oh how things can change given 24 hours.
I hae gone from feeling on top of the world to anxious and terribly insecure. |

Did more homework and housework plus take a nap. That's pretty much my day.
Time to feed the cats and take a shower before making dinner. Anxiety is low at the moment. I'm doing okay. |

And okay I am once again. This has been quite the 72 hours. From elation, to anxiety, to panic, to joy again. Exhausting. All turned out well obviously.
I took a car on a test-drive last night and was able to talk the salesman into remaining behind. Huge relief. I had been making myself sick over it for days. |
