I just had a friend describe my stressing out in what I think was the best way ever. She said we get so stressed with anxiety on account we can't trust the good things.

This description is apt. I am in amidst what should be a wonderful and exciting thing yet I am so damn nervous something will go wrong that I am not allowing myself to enjoy it.

I totally get that. We are so programmed for bad things to happen, that we cannot enjoy the good. Practicing mindfulness is a great way to stay in the moment and not look back or forward. I’m still a beginner at this. But there’s a lot of great material out there. http://www.developgoodhabits.com/min...es/#tab-con-69

Well I did in fact know it was going to work out I just could convince myself of it. Does that even make sense.

As it was, it did turn out okay. Still, until those keys are in my hand this morning, I won't be able to rejoice in the excitement.
