I had an MRI last week and that was a normally checkup but they find something they want to check and i am nervous and scared because i red the report and its showing something they want to scan ,my psychiatrist is away and i have no time to see my family doctor. the scan is today and i and the follow up is next week i am wonder if the radiologists prescribe med like Valium or Xanax
Also what is the best way to bring this up and ask?

Radiologist are allowed to prescribe medication. But I am not aware about the burocracy needed to do that. In my country the prescription is almost always electronic and the patient must be in the lists validated by the secretaries and the doctor must have access to the program....
