I just recently found out I am pregnant. I am 7 weeks in and have found my anixety has gotten worse. Anytime I feel any type of fluid down there I instantly fear it is blood and I am miscarring. It turns out to be clear and I know that is normal. I go to the doctor tomorrow and know the doctor will probably tell me everything is fine as I still have all the early symptoms hard stomach sore boobs and being on the see food diet of I see food I eat it. My question is did your anxiety get worse once you were pregnant and was miscarriage a constant fear for you? If so how did you cope with it without medication or were on something that was safe for your baby?

I did have a great deal of anxiety but it was entirely to do with my ability to care for the baby when it arrived. I couldn't afford to raise a child, I couldn't afford time off. I was working 72hrs a week until the week before I had her and was back before the month was out following.

Fast forward 31 years and this adult is amazing.

There is something perhaps you could do. Research what it is and the accompanying symptoms of your stage of pregnancy. Whatever you do, don't look for negative stories or symptoms. It is important to inundate yourself with positivity. Find yourself a group of other pregnant women, group support can be very helpful (not to mention these friendships often last after the births of the infants). Discuss this with your doctor, it is normal what you are feeling and he might be able to provide you with encouragement.

Again, this is normal to worry.
