I hope everyone has been doing a little better than I have this weekend. Had one of the worst panic attacks on Friday and have been having mini ones since then. All because I think something is wrong with my stomach. Anyway I went to the medicine doc (psychiatrist) today and hes upping my Effexor XR to 225 mg. I'm already on 150 mg. I'm extremely worried of course about any side effects I may experience. He said there usually is none going from 150 to 225 but I'm still a worrier regardless of what he said. Any one else make the jump from Effexor 150 mg to 225mg?

Yes, I did that and there were no problems. I eventually went even higher without any incidents.

I haven't been on Effexor in over 12 years but I wanted to say that in the 18 years that I've been on medication I've tried MANY MANY different medications and changed dosages many times and I've rarely experienced any problems, and none of them were bad. Just dry mouth or weight gain. I don't know if that's reassuring or not.
