—-you have the option of telling hr dept that u have a fire phobia (don’t open up beyond that now)and that u must be away from that noise. Think of alternatives. Ask when it will stop. Take sick days if it will be over soon, work at home? There is usually some solution. Maybe take yr vacation days now.
Get some fabulous, fun earphones. This is a whole range of things u can do.
