After four weeks of interviews and waiting (most impatiently) and building anxiety, I was offered the job yesterday. Now the anxiety has further risen. What happens now? OMG, I've got a job! Will I look like an idiot the first day? Will I screw up? Will I be able to handle it? Gosh, the worry, negative automatic thoughts, and self doubt are sweeping in. I've now got a 10 day wait until that first day. Arrrrgh! Stop doubting yourself!

10 days. You could go skydiving and be back to bed, refreshed and a sharp, clear mind set in cruise control.

Allow your body and mind to exist in harmony.

If you lose concentration, repeat guitar, guitar, guitar and you will recalibrate.

congrats on getting the job!. that's cool!

those 10 days will fly by.. you know I do the exact same thing?

I dread something happening in a few days and think it's going to go slow,

but it actually doesn't- and soon enough you're on that day

That great advice! I never thought about looking at the situation from that point of view.
