We are suppose to get a tropical storm today it is from the hurricane that hit SC, with that being said I am a nervous wreck. Cause I know that every single time we get a bad storm we lose power oh sure we have a generator it takes it seems forever to go on then I have to sit here waiting for everything to reboot which is very annoying, I am so anxious and depressed right I broke down in tears . I got a letter in the mail yesterday medicare refuses to pay for one of my meds ,it is for get this tremors and it is suppose to help with restless leg.I think I can afford them but for crying out loud dont tell me what meds I can take and can't . Still I am worried they wont give them to me. I need those meds.So between this awful storm worrying about my money being in the bank tomorrow and whether or not I am allowed to get my medication I am a mess. Maybe I will try to listen to my music choice channels sometimes music helps me to relax.I worry a lot but I cannot help it my mom was the same way but I think she was worse.People tell me to stop worrying believe me if I could I would.I just feel sad and lost today too.

The problem is medicare won't pay for it but it doesnt cost to much so now I can get it.Medicare they think they have the right to tell someone what meds they can take and can't take.

Medicare can't dictate what meds,to take or not take, but like all other health insurance plans they can choose not to cover a med.

Could it be because there is a generic available? That is often the case in Canada where we have government subsidized drug programs. If someone wants a brand name, they are fully entitled to it out of there own pocket, but the government will only pay for a generic if available. Perhaps ask your doctor if there is a generic available.
