I have severe anxiety and feel the need to constantly fix things in my friendships and relationships, even when nothing is wrong. Therefore i tend to cling to people and drive them away. I fear that all my friends will eventually get sick of me and leave me and i therefore get very emotionally insecure. this is really affecting my anxiety and making it much worse. I worry i might start cutting again. HELP.

something I recommend is to note down the things in your life you really do need to improve upon and fix and a list of things you don't need to improve or fix and work on what is truly important

I can relate... however, I distance myself because I KNOW they will leave. I constantly feel I'm not good enough and I have the desire to fix thing, it is so irritating.

I could suggest therapy if you are not already, it could help you with this

HI I assume you are new here then welcome.You know what I kind of feel the same way.Then I try to think why me ?Why should I have to fix something .Hey if your friends dont understand well maybe they just dont want to bother/I have lost friends to.They dont want to hear about our problems and that isnt fair if they can dish it out when why cant we?Oh please dont cut yourself I wouldnt want u to hurt yourself.I have never done that but I also know of people who have and I understand how you feel.Life sometimes can be a -itch.If you need to talk you have come to the right place .
