The word makes me think of the dementors in the Harry Potters books but this has been my main phobia since my 2015 attempt (never worried about being insane before doing that).

Google says the fear of madness is generally known as dementophobia. People who suffer from this fear are afraid that they are going insane or losing touch with reality. The fear may be triggered by a family history of mental illness or periods of severe stress.

Anyone else on PC suffer from this?
