Tufail,

I have to work through anxiety too, before taking action.

Feel free to PM me if you like.

Tufail...Welcome to PC Not taking any kind of risk

I'm a procrastinator from the word go. I think at times it's because of my anxiety and at other times I think i work better under pressure too. I never really tried to figure out why I procrastinate so badly....I've done it since childhood.

I do know it can be very frustrating though can't it???

I guess maybe one way to help yourself through it might be to make lists of what needs to be done and give yourself a timeframe to accomplish it in. Be generous if possible with the time you give yourself. You don't want to set yourself up to fail. With each task you accomplish, make sure to cross it off your list. Seeing your progress is very important to this little excercise. I don't know if it will help you or not, but might be worth a try?

Wishing you well!

I once read... A wise man does today what a fool does eventually.
I am a major procrastinator when my anxiety is high. If I remember this saying I will usually do what I need to and then realize I made a bigger deal out of it than was necessary.
