I’m sorry a lot, Break. They shouldn’t be allowed to fire people at these terrible moments.
I have no words to console you. I will tell you that you worth a lot and soon, when all this situation get better you’ll find another job.

I am keeping myself entertained (I have a lot of tv to catch up on, my alexa, the forum etc)

I'm finding myself missing mcdonalds a lot at the moment. I really want it to re-open

I also can't help wonder how long this will go on for, and if tis will be the endo f the world (I'm not sure if I believe it, but I think it)

something needs to be done and fast

but I suppose even if it is the world's screwed... everything has stopped

or is stopping

I can't order a takeout tonight (it's closed), have to settle for a rank pizza from the local shop.

I have no idea. Here, shops ran soon out of masks and gloves but you can still find toilet paper.
Maybe we became way too much cushy and you know this part is sensible.

I've been wondering the same thing! It's crazy.

But lots of things are sold out here now. Pasta and soap as well. I'm running low on food because I keep seeing empty shelves in the supermarket. Despite a note someone stuck on a lamp post outside the supermarket saying "If you hoard all the affordable food items, other people will go without. Don't hoard."
No one cares. It's so selfish.

I just try to workout as much as I can. For me, it hit at a terrible time when I'm going through a lot of social drama and it's definitely hitting me. Along with the drama I can tell it's making me very edgy and irritable.

Thanks. I was still in my probation (first six month's) so easy to get rid of. They told me all employees in their probation have been let go.

At least I don't have to feel guilty about being home anymore. And at least that wasn't the reason I got fired.

It's become rough. So silent. I feel guilty if I have to go to the grocery store. Not seeing my therapist in person is very hard. It's so quiet in my apartment. No people walking by. I hear birds, all different sounds of birds.

One thing I'll say on the positive side is that our governor, Gavin Newsom is an excellent leader. He's really getting done what needs to be done, which will hopefully reduce the direction we're headed in, which is not a good one.

Anxiety keeps going up and down. Today it's pretty high. Even though I am now safely hiding away at home and only go out to the supermarket.

I am an introvert, therefore, staying at my apartment is not a big deal for me. I talk with my friends on Discord, I check on my parents once a day.

Shopping is a little tricky. I try to go shopping no more than two times a week and when I do it I am buying as much as I can carry. Of course I wear gloves and a mask for such trips just to be sure I will not spread any virus if I happen to be carrying one.

I also think it’s very selfish.
Now, there’s an international competition for security and medical assistant stuff.
Wow! Hope, we take something positive out of this all, when it finishes.

I don’t think people who wonder about being a burden may be a burden indeed.
It says a lot from a person.
I’m here if you need to talk.

Yesterday, we got past China in deceased people. It’s been repeated what happened in Italy a few days ago.
Some infected people who were being treat in hospitals, went off without permission. Luckily, the irresponsible persons are the less ones.

Today, anxiety and frustration is pretty high. I guess it’s because good news are delaying and I see how some people still is pretty irresponsible while I have to be shut in this flat for so many days already.

I still hate going to the store. It's funny how outside in the fresh air, everyone is standing a good distance apart. And at the cash registers there's lines on the floor. But when shopping, there's just no room to keep 1,5 m distance. And people don't even pay attention.

Yesterday I flipped out and got anxious because I didn't want to go the supermarket. I am in a high risk category but have no one to shop for me. I finally ordered some stuff from Amazon. If I carefully ration what I have I could go a full two weeks without having to think about supplies.

I ordered online from Amazon Prime but now there is news that Amazon workers are getting sick so that's it for me...no more ordering online~

What about neighbours? Maybe one of them would be willing to buy some stuff for you? Or are there any organisations matching volunteers with people who can't go out to the store?

Apartment complex I live in is not very friendly. I never see my neighbors. The usual staff here are now working from home and the lobby office is shut down. I went online yesterday to see if I could find a volunteer service but my county doesn't have anything set up - people are expected to pay to have groceries delivered. I signed up for Meals on Wheels but they told me their vegetarian meals are not that good and they are having a difficult time with their case load, anyway. They basically discouraged me from using them!

I have two weeks of supplies then will rethink my strategies for getting supplies.

It’s better to be cautious in front of every piece of news broadcasted. Here, in the net are coming out so many fake news that some mass media are trying to explain the population how to distinguish when something is a fake.

Said that, I heard in the News here, how the president of the UK first intention was to keep elderly people at home for 6 months and let the virus infected the other part of the population so they may create autoimmune defences.
It seemed to me an atrocity. Difficult to believe. Do you know something about it?

Break, I think people is gonna be more cautious as soon as they get used to the new situation.
This is what I’m observing here when going to the supermarket. First day, there were people without masks, some others didn’t know until said that they had to touch products with gloves, they rush into you instead of wait for you to take a product from a stall. I even coincide with an ex-coworker and he approached to me without mask less than 1 meter far. I was freaking out.
Now, people is more used to the safety measures. So, I feel safer but still I go to buy when I need it. Taking my shopping list, to buy as fast as possible.
